Of course he's going to take it even a a catch weight. You'd have to be a fool to pass that up. What is Geale supposed to say? Yeah 157 is no problem?

    Geale should come in at 160 IMO, I really doubt Cotto really pulls out of the fight.

    Exactly, Canelo did the same thing draining down to 152.

    Money talks.

      Even then, it's different for Canelo. Canelo still had a bright future even without the Mayweather fight so in that sense he could've done without that fight.

      Geale on the other hand has to take this fight.After a KO loss you have to build yourself up from the bottom when you're not a big name. He's getting a rare chance most don't get.

            Remember, Cotto fans;

            The same way Cotto has every right to drain whoever he wants if they are willing to sign the contract, Geale has every right to play up this excuse before and after the fight. I hope he does.

              Solid, he looks durable and strong. I think 157 is Geale's best weight actually.

                He didn't have to take the fight. No one to blame but himself.

                  That's if he loses. I don't see Geale as being a pushover. Everyone he's faced, he's fought pretty evenly save for Golovkin.

                    True I mean after all don't they love to bring up how Cotto is potentially a fighter with only one legitimate loss because of catchweights and plaster? Those are excuses so Geale's excuses are just as valid.

                    Also didn't know Fallout 4 trailer had released already, thanks for indirect tip.

                      If the weight doesn't bother him, I think he's capable of winning, and I'd be shocked to see Cotto dominate him.

                      I'm much more skeptical about his ability to make the weight now.
