I doubt Cotto is going to cancel the fight. Especially Roc Nation Sports and the deal they have with HBO.

Dont Forget the Cotto-family has a long tradition of throwing rocks when they mad. Remember what Evangelista Cotto did?

Cotto is a fcuking diva for making the catch weight at 157- and before his stans attack me, I'm a fan of the guy, just not an obsessed loser like you guys. Fight the man at his proper weight or dont fight him at all. Hate this catchweight bulli****.

and a fight for the lineal MW title nonetheless. being held at 157. fcuking joke.

Geale will be exposed as the best name on GGGs resume and Cotto will beat him with ease.

Cotto is genius... Taking on a common opponent while acclimating to MW, to illustrate what can be done against the Geale's of this world.

              Cotto a genius?

Aside from making the fight at 157 to help drain Geale, I really don't see it. Don't forget Golovkin took out Geale in 3 rounds very easily with no catchweight

that performance will be pretty hard for Cotto to top.

Link? I'll be waiting forever because it never happened.

Draining yourself like this is very dangerous for a fighter. When a fighter "weigh drains" he is dehydrating his body, including fluids inside the brain. That leaves a fighter susceptible to traumatic brain injury because there's little to less cushion inside the brain. I hope Geale is cautious and doesn't push his body too much.

For those giving Geal **** for agreeing. Put yourself in his shoes.

Boxing is his job they way he provides for his family. He just suffered a devastating KO loss a year ago and now he gets this rare chance for a world title that will get him even more fights, more money and a more secure future for his kids. Of course he's going to take it even a a catch weight. You'd have to be a fool to pass that up. What is Geale supposed to say? Yeah 157 is no problem?

Geale should come in at 160 IMO, I really doubt Cotto really pulls out of the fight.
