Yes there was a cw of 159 with Sergio so you would think that the next fight should be at 160, not at 157.

I'm not sure how people can defend an even greater cw for cotto's 2nd fight at 160, especially since he is the lineal champ now.

Cotto stans also need to realise that nearly all of us are cotto fans but he has taken things too far.

You justified Manny doing it because he was "moving up" in weight. Well he fought Oscar, then Ricky and then back up to Cotto. It was his second fight at WW just like Cotto's at MW. All I was doing was stating facts and you go on some tirade, Manny and Cotto did the same exact thing.

Also, Champion or not it was Cotto was the underdog in that fight, Manny was the favorite. He still drained him. Just like Cotto is doing to Geale. This is boxing, this isn't the first and it won't be last. This very title was fought at the same weight before or at 158 between Sergio and Paul Williams. It didn't get half the crap this fight is getting. So like I said, the title has already been "tarnished" by Sergio and Paul Williams, Cotto just added another pound. So he hasn't done anything except act like a stuck up prick, because he can, he's a boss. Why people still hope for integrity in boxing is beyond me, it's been tarnished for a very long time.

Cotto is obviously attempting to drain Geale, just like Pacquiao did to him.

There is no great mystery happening here.....

And while asshats are happy to accept pointless unnecessary catchweights, we will have to deal with that.

Catchweights are shht, and are completely unjustifiable.
