Are Abraham and Steiglitz not fighting again? Am I making this up?

James DeGale would fight them both on the same night with one hand tied behind his back but they're not going to stop the endless purgatory of their little Sauerland Round Robin which the corpse of Felix Sturm is about the enter.

Probably because they want to actually sell tickets and Anthony Dirrell won't want to take 2 losses in a row.

It's funny how everyone ****s on these fights and then offers no alternative. At least HEND tried with a fighter who admitted he wasn't ready to face DeGale.

        Lets see YOUR list.
Ward, Froch, Golovkin, Jack/Groves. Hell, I'd much rather see a Dirrell rematch than a 50 year old LHW @ 168, a guy that is retired and hasn't won a fight in 2 1/2 years, or a BUM (Bute).

Flashy names though. Hearn is good at his job.

Why isn't Froch DeGale realistic? Would it not be big in the UK? Froch's schedule is open, he's not getting Ward or Golovkin this year and the ChavezJr fight is DOA.

Once again, why don't you live in the real world? DeGale is fighting in October in London - are any of those names available and/or willing?

Andre Ward is fighting a guy who DeGale absolutely wrecked in his 8th pro fight. Yet you have an issue with these names

MW and SMW are really lacking of good names atm. Hard to make good matchups.

Froch doesn't want the fight. It doesn't interest him. He seems more interested in Golovkin or retirement.

DeGale would fight him at the drop of a hat.

Was always going to be a poor opponent after Dirrell if he won.

I dont have much interest in Degale fighting any of these three but i guess its tricky with Groves fighting JAck, Steiglitz fighting Abraham and Ward fighting Smith.

Ramirez Sanchez would have been a good + winnable fight and he is ranked no,1 in IBF i think, but he doesnt bring much money and I doubt Top Rank would be looking at Degale as an opponent after how much he struggled vs Vlasov

I can see their thinking. There isn't really any names available for October, except maybe Anthony Dirrell..and that's not much of an option.

Hopkins, Bute and Kessler are recognizable names here and would sell.
DeGale has just won the title in America on a PBC card, so as far as first defences go, i haven't got much of a problem with those names.

Going into 2016, everyone should be freed up to fight, and there will be some good unification fights to be made.
