So, the difference between a 9 year middleweight vet, who happens to be a supposed killer..... and a guy who is not a genuine MW and has been fighting at 160 for about 5 minutes..... is 1 catchweight.
Is there spin on that, that I somehow missed, or what ?
GGG has a truckload of work to do before he can be mentioned alongside Cotto.Comment

I think I will bold that, and re-post.....So, the difference between a 9 year middleweight vet, who happens to be a supposed killer..... and a guy who is not a genuine MW and has been fighting at 160 for about 5 minutes..... is 1 catchweight.

Let me explain I guess it was to difficult for captain obvious^ to figure out. The bottom picture shows Geale 7 lbs heavier then the top picture, the top picture is Geale's fighting weight, yet you all are saying he is already drained, lol hes 7 pounds heavier then his fighting weight! hence not drained.Comment

ggg was fighting at 140 when he was 19 so he has done the same thingbut he just didn't turn pro yet. i see people making this same fallacy over and over again and giving fighters who turned pro before they were fully grown super credit as if they are fighting in divisions where they don't belong when the reality is they naturally grew into those divisions. a guy like ggg turned pro when he was already fully grown so moving up to him wouldn't be the same as others who move up naturally. if ggg turned pro as a young adult he would have been fighting at 140-147 as well.Comment

Yep, I agree with you.....ggg was fighting at 140 when he was 19 so he has done the same thingbut he just didn't turn pro yet. i see people making this same fallacy over and over again and giving fighters who turned pro before they were fully grown super credit as if they are fighting in divisions where they don't belong when the reality is they naturally grew into those divisions. a guy like ggg turned pro when he was already fully grown so moving up to him wouldn't be the same as others who move up naturally. if ggg turned pro as a young adult he would have been fighting at 140-147 as well.
Cotto has taken on those challenges and proved himself, Golovkin has not.Comment
