Frankie Gavin moving down to light welter.

Always thought this would be better for him. Guess he's finally got it. Doesn't look like he struggles to make welter at all, which I feel when you are making weight there should always be a bit of struggle involved.

I think he could do better at light welter, not sure he could win a title but he'll do better.

    Has he confirmed this?

Gavin was never a welterweight. Much better weight for him.

It's laughable that he was even at welterweight. He could probably do lightweight if he was truly committed.

He has only made the 140 limit as a pro once and he's nearly 30, not sure it's a good idea to move down now. He's not that small anyway.

Because he wasn't dedicated in there. He was absolutely dwarfed by Brook in size.

He has no place at WW at all.

Cause he's never even used a nutritionist thats why. It is a good move as many have said in the past.

I remember when Frankie Gavin got a gift against Curtis Woodhouse.

Doesn't matter what weight he fights at he will always be poor.

He is not professional or discipline enough to stay at 140. Most people who knew him in around his circle know this.
