If GGG had just taken him out in the second or third, people would have been crying over what a mismatch it was. So he let it go for a couple of rounds more to get in some work and put on a show and people still are not happy. I wonder how everyone would feel to see GGG put Cotto out in two and Canelo in three? Will that satisfy them or will they still find something to complain about?

As for Monroe, Willie should just STFU already. Everyone with any boxing knowledge at all knows GGG could have finished him off after the first KD. But he gave the kid some extra rounds and that will probably lead to more fights for him instead of his being looked at as a nothing opponent. He should be thankful and not complaining.

I hope GGG learned a lesson from this and his next time out he goes full out from the get go and ends it as soon as possible.

It's a boxing match, not a street fight. There's rules.

But it's not like he is deliberately aiming for the hips, Golovkin goes to the body quite often, a punch can occasionally land in the hips. In fact in happens to all fighters who go to the body, the only issue is that Golovkin punches so hard that it's worth complaining about apparently. There are rules but it's a fight you can't expect these guys to be super clean, something like Garcia hitting Mathysse in the nuts upwards to 10 times is worth complaining about, although generally Garcia is not that dirty.
