Kovalev was knocking people out before he got with JDJ. Algeri is not a true puncher or pressure fighter, which is why he was chosen to be Khan's opponent.

I'm tired of Hunter. This guy is an ego maniac and talks out the side of his mouth. Khan fought a light punching opponent AND he wobbled a few times when getting hit by Algieri. Khan is in DEEP trouble if he fights Thurman or any top 5 WW with decent power.

In which rounds did Algieri buckle Khan's knees?

Please tell me because I've watched the fight 3 times now and I didn't see Khan buckled or wobbled once.

            Translation for US fans:

"Once" means "one time" in British English. So if Keith Thurman was a UK fighter, he would be known as Keith "Once" Thurman. Get it? Lol.

I'm sure I saw Khan get wobbled in the first time and have bad reactions to some of those other right hands. Doesn't matter though. Khan still the same, pressure is his weakness other than a decent powered punch. Maidana KO's him at this point. Thurman also, Brook, Pacquiao, Porter and Broner. Only top 10 WW's Khan has a good chance at surviving them by boxing and is Guerrero and Chaves. But those two would probably give him a war.

That was in the first round, before Khan had warmed up properly, and that quick reset of his feet was the only reaction he showed to any of the punches Thurman landed on him.

So much bull**** is posted by fans at this site. If what they wanted or expected to see doesn't happen, they just pretend that it did, then discuss it here as if it was reality, rather than their own imagination.

Khan took algeri's hardest shots..but where did he wobble?? He didn't lose his footing once...he got struck and that's it, recovered and boxed on.
