Random testing Didnt start until 2012 in the UK from my understanding so it would not come as a surprise if more boxers are caught ..

a 3 year gap in testing is not year round testing. it's not rigorous.

it's lip service to call it year round testing, or to call it stringent.

it's absolutely impossible to implement a year round testing program to scan for all drugs. tests are developed years after drugs come into use. i think that part is obvious.

it is economically impossible to fund year round testing for any fighters outside of the very top of earners. who pays for this? promotors? fighters? socialism in the UK?

The only way there can be year rd testing is to implement 1 governing body ..Until then year round testing in boxing is as real as the Easter bunny .

To be honest I wouldn't trust the BBBofC to organise a piss up in a brewery.

That said they have been testing, catching and punishing fighters over the last few years.

Dillian Whyte, Kid Galahad, Olubamiwo and Enzo Maccarinelli all were caught doping and were punished. Actually Dillian Whyte was barely even doing anything wrong and he caught a two year ban.

Obviously it could be better (and is getting better)

I said it is a deterrent compared to the US where there is none whatsoever.

People point to Price's comments which are 3 years old now btw. They are increasing the number of tests they do all the time. Blood testing is expensive, you can't test everyone all the time.

Again, how can Americans downplay our system when its far more stringent than theirs? Makes no sense but that's Americans for you.

Don't know what happens in Denmark because your country is insignificant in boxing and pretty much everything.

most athletic commissions stateside have inadequate testing. some have toyed with blood testing, year round testing, but it is incredibly expensive, and i don't believe they're offered much federal or state funding. i don't trust vada, and i certainly don't trust usada.

however, i can't imagine anybody going through vada or usada and not getting tested for three years. that's indefensible. what are you doing defending that kind of a program?

                "it's better than america doe!"

you've got a better soccer team, too [though we are clearly catching up, which is pathetic.] we'd freaking murder you guys in american football, if you fielded a team. who cares if you can beat somebody in the minor leagues?

don't act like you've got airtight PED testing. heck, don't act like you've got anything better than a "year round testing program" that lets delvis, a freaking HW, go 3 years without even peeing in a cup. american testing is inadequate. so is british testing.

we'll be in agreement if you can admit all of that.

                    No testing is air tight.

Our system is far superior to yours. In fact you have no system.

Price said he was urine tested several times but not blood tested for 3 years. Article is also 3 years old. Cling onto it if you want though.

Kid Galahad just got caught and will be banned for 2 years if his appeal doesn't work. He's one of our brightest young talents.

When Lamont Peterson got popped, he got to keep the IBF title for another 5 years
