In medical literature, you can not take liberty with the terminology. Preferred means just that, a preference. Preference does not mean effectiveness. Which is why IV is used for more extreme cases, because it is clearly more effective. Is he clean or dirty? I don't know. But that fight is over and done and no amount of conspiracy theories will change the very clear result.

It's ridiculous to me that 1.5 pounds of fluids (If Iole's info is correct) not taken intravenously would cause Mayweather "a significant impairment to health" and that oral rehydration was not a "reasonable the****utic alternative." Lets' also ignore that extremely mild dehydration is not "an acute or chronic medical condition."
