It's hilarious that he still thinks he is close to the Floyd fight...

Or Algieri is better than folks give him credit for and Hunter is the most basic "elite" trainer I've ever seen.Comment

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/box...ting-boss.htmlSomething wasn't right about Khan, he looked slow, sluggish, his speed was pretty ordinary by his standards. His reflexes looked bad, his movement, defense, sharpness just nothing was there. He needs to stick it out with Virgil because the Alexander performance and his condition in that fight was the best in his whole career including the days with Roach. Saying that even the worst Khan still beat Algieri 8-4, that's impressive in itself to be fair, only elite fighters can do stuff like that.
Frankie can you link the source please, thanks.Comment

This.
Khan looked good against Devon because...
well, it's Devon.
Things don't work in a vacuum where what your opponent does has no effect on the other fighter.
Devon is slower and was always in Khan's range trying to time him (and unable to) getting turned into a punching bag.
Algieri isn't really fast but was doing a good job at timing Khan. Algieri also has a higher fight IQ than Devon does as the pressure actually helped Algieri by having Khan on the backfoot, and catching him when Khan overcommitted on his punches. The fact Algieri could and was hurting him made Khan more hesitant as he was reaching with a lot of his shots, which Algieri was timing and countering.Comment
