Against Algieri, it simply wasnt there, he couldnt get going. He started extremely slow. Khan has always been fast out of the blocks and tends to fade in the later rounds.
its because he was nervous, algieri was pressing him like crazy. Alexander just stood there in the middle and got picked apart.

When fighters panic they clinch up and that is what Khan did

Dudes boring as **** lately. Virgil ruined him. He still gets tagged with huge shots but the difference is he's fighting guys with feather dusters. Hasn't fought anyone with a pulse in years.

      "Alexander doe." GTFOH.

My days of backing Kahn are numbered.

Maybe, but even when he was controlling the round, he looked slower than ive ever seen him before

His accuracy and timing wasnt there.

Maybe he did ovetrain, 14 week camp and 160 rounds sounds a bit excessive

If you remember Alfredo Angulo and how tired he looked against Canelo, thats what Khan reminded me of, but not that extreme

Alfredo Angulo looked like a zombie when he walked into the ring with Hunter on his side

Maybe not everyone can handle Ward like training

No....he just doesn't look good against taller or physically bigger opponents. Especially when they put him under a bit of pressure.

Maybe because Khan was letting his hands go and planting his feet

                  Alexander couldn't handle Khan's speed.

Algieri couldn't either truth be told, he was just prepared to walk through punches to land a few shots of his own.

Khan looked the same as he did when he fought Julio Diaz. He looked healthier in the Alexander and Callazo fights. I think he just wasnt focused in this fight, was thinking about the floyd fight. But he got the job done, so he should move on. Going to roach is a bad idea, if anything hire Alex Ariza again, he actually helped khan take punches better.

How did he overtrain? I read he didn't take it seriously till three weeks into camp.
