Most on here know the deal, lot of rival promoters and networks prevent great match ups. The thing is, these top welters all have plans and they dont seem to include fighting other top welters...its seems like a competition to fight the best low ranked guys or the best 140lbers not rated in the top 5.

Bc while not a star Rios is a solid fighter. I'd rather you fight a solid fighter than not fight at all.

He better hope Jousha is always on his cards cuz there is no way to justify a PPV agaisnt the likes of Rios
Where have I made any excuses for his early career? It's irrelevant.

If your new boyfriend Khan would "grow some balls, bro", then Brook would have some competition.

Or would he? Judging by Friday night's atrocious display against a pillow hitting kickboxer, maybe it wouldn't be competition.

Yes this is a big fight! A superfight, Rios will provide a huge test for Kell and if he stops Rios, the world will take notice. Make it happen!

Oh yeah, cos they're American and it's ok for Yanks to do this. Typical Handz Grubby nonsense.
Lmao I did answer. You act like he'll be off for a year. He said he's eying rios and thurman when Thurman has a fight in July.. He's not eying him. I don't care that they're american rios is american too. Point is he'll keep fighting no hopers as long as it's convenient for him. And you'll still make excuses for the exact same thing you stopped liking khan for

Boxing is a business to everyone involved now, no fighter takes risk. It's all about staying relevant for long enough and milking the game for as long as they can.

I must have missed it. Why should Brook, as the champion, wait for Thurman? Why did Thurman book a fight with ***ing Collazo?

Because Al Haymon and American fighters can do what they want in your world.

Hearn might want to do a fight at Brammal Lane (outdoor stadium) in August. But nope, lets kibosh all those plans to wait for Thurman and lose out on that chance.

                Idiot.

I "stopped liking Khan" because he had a £5million offer to face Brook at Wembley and turned it down to face Chris Algieri.

If when Brook-Thurman reaches its apex and offers are made and Brook rejects the fight, then you might have a point.

Right now you're just waffling about hypothetical situations because I've absolutely wrecked you in this thread.

Thurman signed to fight Collazo in July. He knew Brook was fighting in August.

If the shoe was on the other foot, the Yanks would be saying that Brook signed a fight early to duck Thurman.
