The only realistic one you named there was Diego Chaves who was considered for this last fight but they chose Gavin because he was British and it would sell better. Diego Chaves is a top opponent now? Wtf?
Instead of Gavin, he could have fought Keith Thurman? On 5 or 6 weeks notice? On a card where Hearn has already paid two other world champions to travel. He's going to shell out another 3 odd million to Thurman? Oh and Thurman still looked like a ***ing panda from his fight with the other guy you mentioned, Guererro. Don't say the dates? The dates are kinda important because you can't just throw out figthers names who are unavailable
Why should the champion wait for other fighters who are fighting WORSE opponents than Brandon Rios? Because they're American, they get free reign to do their own thing but Brook, THE CHAMPION, must arrange his schedule around them?

The only reason he fought Brook is because they forced him too.

Rios? Easy fight for Brook. Guess Arum can sell anything to HBO and Hearn will go right along for the free ride for Brook. What the hell, easy money, Brook looks good on American TV and Brook get paid for hitting the bag. Arum get paid for promotion a mismatch. Win,win, win situation for everyone except Rios.Comment

If Khan would get on the blower and stop blaming his trainer for his poor performance there would be no Chris A's , no Gavin and no Rios. Khan is now saying he over trained for Chris Algieri , what would the excuses be if ever they were ****** enough to let him share a ring with the master.
How people try to defend this man is beyond me , Mayweather can't get away with knocking him out after this but you wait and see what stiff the Khan's try next.....LolComment
