Face the facts: Hearn holds that belt as a hostage and he has absolute no intention to get a credible, top opponent for Brook if it's not one of the Khan/Mayweather/Pac trio.
You believe that he couldn't find for his fighter a decent opponent during that year and I'm the dense? I'm the unrealistic? REALLY?

    I'm done...
Year? Kell Brook got stabbed. He only returned to the ring in March. By August, he'll have fought 3 times in 5 months.

Name these opponents that he could have fought.

      PATHETIC! Unbreakable doe.

This guy is milking that belt until his idol Khan decides to throw him a bone next summer. His obsession was obviously picked up from gym mate, Witter (Hatton). Literally made a name off of Khan's career.

"I want Khan" fights Matthew Hatton. "I want Khan" fights Mexicali City Council binman Alvaro Robles. "I want Khan" fights Carson "hands of stone" Jones. F.ck outta here.

            Thurman, Bradley, Chavez, Guerrero

And don't say the dates. Maybe you believe that somehow accidentally all the credible opponents weren't able to Brook all the time, I don't. For start instead of Gavin he could have fight Bradley, Thurman, Chavez or Guerreor, none of them had officially announced fights when Hearn announced Gavin (Chavez still hasn't). On his next fight only if he would wait a few more weeks he could fight Thurman, Chavez, Bradley, Guerrero...

Didnt mean to offend, man. But dude Brook cant be given anymore passes. Jo jo dan, Frankie Gavin and now Rios? Whats the point of having a title if hes not gonna do anything with it? Look at the welter weight division...thise are his options.

Far as Porter goes, he did good things while he had it. He beat devon to aquire it, beat paulie and did his mando with Brook..thats a stretch of 3 good fighters.you cant really knock that.

Activity doesn't excuse poor opposition. Not for Golovkin, not for Brook.

That's true didn't think bout the holding factor , Rios can fire some pretty good uppercuts too

Brook is fighting Rios in August, so that already rules him out

and Thurman is fighting in July, wudnt be supersized if that injury reappears again

Khan gets the fight via default and speaking the loudest

Unless Porter can beat Broner in some dramatic fashion, he cud make a case for the fight

Floyds options are very limited, he cud move up to fight Cotto, but i dont see that happening.
Danny Garcia should get the Floyd fight.

At the end of the day neither Khan or Brook are fighting welterweights.

Garcia should get the fight by default seeing as no one is available for Sept. No one of class that is.

And if there a "strong" case for Khan getn the fight based on the killers hes been fightn, then Garcia has a stronger case seeing as he KOd Khan and still has those titles. Plus Floyd would get that 5th lineal. Since Khan brings nothing to the table, hes not getn that fight.
