Two-division world champion Jhonny Gonzalez (57-9, 48KOs) is looking to return to the ring on a date in the month of August or September in Mexico City or Los Angeles, in the super featherweight division. He wants to get a world title shot as soon as possible and plans to sit down with his promoter, Promociones del Pueblo, to go over the details.
Gonzalez was last in the ring in March, losing his WBC featherweight title, when he was easily knocked out in four rounds by the quick handed Gary Russell Jr.

. Takashi Miura has power too, but I think a Gonzalez vs. Miura is a 50-50 fight due to Gonzalez's far superior technical abilities. Gonzalez's best shot at a 130 pound title is against the Jose Pedraza vs. Andrey Klimov winner since neither of them hit very hard.
