Thompson and Arreola both would clearly be elite wins for Anthony should he prevail. If those are 2016 opponents even, it would be the makings of a teriffic resume.

All the names listed are good opponents. Arreola is one of my favorites because he comes to fight no matter what he weighs. I like him in the 245-250 range. Dropping to the 230s didnt make him any faster. He could walk into a big AJ punch & be on his back but at the same time he could totally destroy him in a round if he catches him early. I think about what he did to eric molina & seth mitchell. Molina is now getting a title shot at wilder. Arreola would be my last choice out of thompson, solis & charr.

British title fight next, which is vacant if I'm not mistaken? I agree with Hearn, Whyte, Chisora and Price would all be decent fights to make.
Not even close. Joshua has about the same or even worse competition than Wilder did early in his career. Do you realize four guys have retired after fighting this guy? He's fighting guys waaaaaay past their prime or flat out bums. Even KJ was 1-5 going into the Joshua fight. His opponents have been horrendous.

I hear Whyte is on the make for 9-12. That would be a tremendous step-up for Joshua and would be his first real fight..

Arreola and Thompson would get knocked out. Thompson would last longer.

The problem is that the top 15 guys don't want to fight him because of the high risk. Only the journeymen ranked below him have the balls to try because they have nothing to lose. I don't expect him to have a real challenge until he becomes a mandatory, forcing one of the belt holders to fight him.
