The difference is that Khan wasn't fighting a weigh-drained Algieri like Pacquiao and Provodnikov did - he was fighting Algieri at his very best, and we know he's a tough dude because even his weight-drained version recovered from being knocked down several times against Pac and Prov.

So there we have it, Khan beat a better version of Algieri in a similar fashion to Pacquiao - but Pac got the knockdowns because he fought the weight-drained Chris.

The old Algieri would have lost to Khan 120-108, just like Devon Alexander, who is a much better technical boxer than Algieri. But under John David Jackson, Chris Algieri has become a very different fighter, less technical and more pressure, which is what gave Khan problems. Styles make fights, and trainers make fighters.
