No one can help him, Khan buys into his own hype. When he underperformed, he came out and said had Algieri fought Pacquiao in this manner, Algieri could have beaten Pacquiao. If that isn't delusional then I don't know what is. Khan isn't as willing to learn as people think.

He is a great trainer but he isn't a miracle worker. Amir Khan is what he is, he is a product of a highly flawed U.K amateur system and those flaws are long embedded into him.

The worrying thing for me was he didn't even look particularly fast. He had a 14 week camp so maybe he overtrained but he showed a lot of flaws and vulnerability along the way.

There might be something to that, he looked flat in this fight and overtraining could possibly be the cause.

Still, it seems we are always making one excuse or another for a shitty Khan performance. In the end maybe it's just him?

Khan should just go back to Roach. Imo he had overall better performances under him.

JDJ is great at creating gameplans and having his fighters execute. He had Nate Campbell standing in the pocket and fighting Juan Diaz on the inside, which is what most people thought was the wrong strategy at the time. They ended up exposing Diaz. He had a great gameplan for Kovalev against Hopkins. For Khabib Allakhverdiev against Joan Guzman (although he did get injured halfway through the fight).

He understands the sport better than Virgil Hunter. Hunter is trying to mold his guys into Ward. The problem is they don't have the natural talent of Ward.

Khan is a world level fighter with some obvious flaws.

I don't know why people always want to make excuses for him or imagine the grass could be greener somewhere else.

Not actually seen the fight but Algieri is a decent win for him.

Kotelnik, Malignaggi, Judah, Alexander, Maidana, Collazo, Algieri.

When he was nearly getting knocked out by Willie Limond you could not imagine he would beat guys like that.

The man has done incredibly well.

Indeed, also i'd like to add Khan has been inconsistent throughout his career, he can look spectacular and then in certain fights he looks a mess

He was written off after that loss to Prescott, glass jaw Khan blah blah blah....But yet with all these flaws he still manged to fight and beat quality fighters, capture world titles and make loads of money

When khan seems to be a heavy favourite he comes with poor ass performances
