Bottom line: If you fight above 154, you are a MW. Otherwise, make 154.
The same thing goes for Cotto's diva self. If you want to force guys to fight MW fights below 160, you don't belong at 160. Weight classes are there for a reason, stop degrading the sport.

GB is suing Haymon, which means Canelo won't be fighting the Charlo's, J-Rock, Harrison, Gausha, Golub, or Dolton. HBO won't pay him $3mill to fight Andrade, Baysangurov, or Rabchenko. Kirkland was his last option. Only option after Cotto is to fight MW's. He'll be laughed at if he tries to fight Bradley.

Wtf is one pound though? It makes no sense what they are doing. I could see if he was doing it at like 158 or something like that. Not that I agree with any of it but one pound is just dumb.

It's really kind of sad when you think Alvarez as our modern day version of Trinidad/DelaHoya. Angulo and Kirkland were faded/damaged fighters built for him, where Lara and Trout were unsatisfying close/controversial decisions, and the Mayweather bout was a one-sided spanking.
