    If Khan had just fought and beaten Devon a year earlier for the IBF belt he would have been TKO'd by Floyd by now and no one would bother talking to him. Careful matchmaking indeed.

      Algieri is better than all of you "experts" claim, JDJ did a great job and Pacquiao is still #2 WW like I've been saying way before the May fight.

          The Algeri fight solidified my opinion that Khan hasn't improved much, if at all, under Hunter. It's possible to say that he has gotten worse in some aspects; although he seems more patient and less jittery, he doesn't seem to have the same level of offensive confidence that he had with Roach. Khan still has defensive leaks, and his punch resistance is still below average (maybe a bit better due to the extra weight). Guys are going to walk him down more often at WW if he continues to throw meaningless flurries that lack conviction. If Algeri landed, best believe that Brook and Thurman will too.
