Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua With Brutal Blast of Johnson in Two

O2 Arena, London - In his most toughest test to date, Olympic gold medal winner Anthony Joshua (13-0, 13KOs) sent a real statement to the heavyweight division with a second round demolition of veteran Kevin Johnson (29-6-1, 14KOs) to retain the WBC International heavyweight title.

Johnson had never been stopped in his entire career. He was hurt by a big right and dropped in the first round. Near the end of the round, he was battered down for a second time and it appeared as if the fight was being waved off but it was allowed to continue.

    He utterly blitzed him.

Fury and everyone else went the distance, Joshua blitzed him in the first and finished it off in the second.

That was suppose to be a step up. Na. He's ready for the likes of Chisora and Arreola etc.

This man will be unstoppable very, very soon.

I told for a while now that Joshua is the future. I don't say that he proved this statement tonight but being the first person who stop Kingpin was a good next step to it.

Only thing I feel sorry for that he is with that antipathetic hyena Hearn.

Wilder, Fury, and Joshua need to fight each other to see who the champions are, who the contenders are, and who the pretenders are. And then put them against Wlad and Povetkin.
