Golovkin's footwork trumps Alvarez' hand speed. Also Alvarez' punching power seems a bit overrated.

Golovkin's not going to fight Alvarez like Angulo did, he's got the reach to bust him up from mid range. People taking way too much from the Monroe fight.

As for Canelo specifically... I think GGG KTFOs him in under 4 rounds.
C'mon man, you are acting like GGG is God's gift to boxing.

If Canelo can keep the fight Center ring by moving his head and standing his ground (leg strength), yes he can give GGG fits. He needs more stamina though. I think at 160 and 25years old, Canelo will have the full strength he needs to earn respect. He will have to fight the fight of his life though, he's faster than GGG so he'll have to get off first everytime and than smother GGG, thats where the leg strength comes in. Canelos stamina may be a recipe for disaster for him though...

It's all he ever posts about. I am starting to think Barcham is Abel Sanchez.

@155lbs, Canelo IS a middleweight so waiting to not starve himself down to 155lbs seems a bit silly.

Canelo is 174lbs on fight night to GGGs 172lbs. Does not seem like Canelo is too keen on facing GGG until GGG is 34-35. Smart...

                    I don't believe in god.

Golovkin would destroy Canelo and both Canelo and ODLH are very well aware of this fact which is why Oscar will keep Alvarez as far from GGG as possible in the hope that Golovkin moves to SMW before Canelo moves fully into 160. If there was any real confidence in their camp, they would put Canelo up against GGG as soon as possible so they could get him out of the way. But instead, Oscar is talking about a fight two years or so down the line. Not a shred of confidence over there at all. Maybe Canelo's fans should be running his career as they seem to know a lot more than the pros he has now.

Canelo does have stamina issues, but he's went the distance with guys like Lara, Trout, Mayweather, beat up Angulo with power shots for 10 rounds...I think he'll be alright.
neither of these men is as powerful bodypuncher as ggg is, though.
