      You'd pay?! That's love.

Unless porter completely destroys broner, i see khan will be the most likely opponent

No one should buy a Khan-Floyd fight... It's Thurman/GGG/Lara or the fight should be boycotted, period. What possible chance does Khan have, really? I don't even think Thurman can win but at least has some real power to make it interesting, but he's too slow. Lara could keep it close on points but not what the fans want but vastly superior to a Khan fight.... GGG though possible at 154 is just fantasy.

Thurman is the most "realistic" choice where Floyd can still keep his reputation in tact.

Actually they should be pushing Spence. Just like TR had Lomachenko on the undercard of May/Pac, Haymon should've had Spence as the co-main instead goddamn Cruz in another puff fight. Spence is 25 years old; Hearns, Leonard, even Mayweather were championship level fighters at his age. Haymon doesn't know/understand how develop fighters.

Mayweather is just coming off a massive career event that's been laying heavy on him for the past 5 years. That's going to have mental fatigue on him, he needs time off to recharge for his last hurrah. He always keeps himself in the gym staying in shape and sharp, time off won't hurt him, never has.

I was thinking along the same lines last night, there's nobody left that's a legit opponent except for Cotto. Thuan had a punchers chance, that's all. Khan would be a joke. Garcia probably deserves it more than any one else, but no one wants to see that.

What if Mayweather retired? He has nothing left to prove and there is no one left to fight.

If Brook or Porter get knockouts, he'll go with one of them.

He could fight Andre Berto and I wouldn't care. It's his last fight of an amazing career.

He has a lot of options. I like any fight prett much. Except khan. Whatever that was last night...the last thing it was was deserving a Mayweather match.

This time off is different, he's nearing 40 and it will hurt him. Fighters around that age don't possess that kind of all around speed, reflexes, the wisest choice is to maintain that sharpness. The opponents are already there for him, waiting for one to rise isn't something he likely cares about, in fact he may not even care if it's a tough outing or not.
