And Hatton won't be remembered for his exceptional ability. He'll be remembered mostly for his LOL KO losses by most fans (haven't read his book but I assume his turnbuckle headbutt KO L to Mayweather & his destruction by Pacquiao & that being the things he'll most be remembered for by fans probably led to some of his self destructive behavior).
You're right about what Hatton will be remembered for LOL. I know people personally who discovered Ricky Hatton by his highlight reel knockouts at the hands of Mayweather and Pacquiao

How many times do I have to say this?! The man is fücking 38 years old! why would stand in there and trade with guys that are 10 years younger and 15 pounds heavier than him especially when he has bad hands? You wanna watch an exciting Floyd Mayweather do what real boxing fans do and go watch him when he was at his peak, the man had 70% KO ratio in his first 35 fights, go watch any of these fights before complaining about him being boring!

How many weight classes did Hatton fight at, if he had moved up from 140 tp 160 and won titles and was still exciting and getting KOs, I would've understood where he's coming from.

The great Duran, one of the best offensive fighters, had almost 10% KOs at middleweights and maybe 20 at LMW, how did he beat Barkley, did he outhustle him like he did against Leonard? of course not, he outboxed him and used his skills, that's what you do when you're fighting bigger guys, otherwise you'll get steam rolled like Hatton got against Mayweather.

He will probably fall into the Sven Ottke category. Only hardcore fans will remember him, and mostly for wrong reasons.

Wow, the ******ity on this forum is never ending. You honestly compared a three time golden gloves champ, Olympic medalist, five division weight champion, a three time ppv ratings record holder, and a sure fire hall of famer to Sven Ottke?

              Ok, I'm done

And getting Hatton'd will always be a noun in boxing.

Hatton helped Floyd's "check left hook" become legendary!
