definitely agree in that i loved watching floyd from 130-140.
Your logic with Hatton moving up to middleweight is just so ******ed i cant even comprehend it
Why?
It's easy to take subliminal jabs to the other for he's being "not exciting enough" when Hatton himself never experienced that how good of an idea being entertaining and exciting among bigger guys 3-4 weight classes above.
Floyd lickers have to accept this. The guy is an incredible fighter but he is literally the most boring superstar boxing has ever produced. He offers nothing to the casual fan style-wise.
I lost count of the people on Facebook who bought the May-Pac fight and were just saying "wtf did i just watch" "biggest waste of $100" "never making the mistake of watching boxing again"
That's the problem bro, the casual fan. The casual fan doesn't know anything about boxing. The casual fan looks at an "arrogant" and "boring" fighter like Floyd and pay the $100 to see the guy that was supposed to destroy him and shut him up.
But people who actually watch boxing on a regular pretty much knew what Floyd was going to do in this fight so for us we wanted to see Manny go in there and throw fifty thousand punches and try to knock Floyd out. It didn't happen and that's what Manny lickers need to understand that he could not do what his bandwagon alleged he could do.
Was it an exciting fight? It wasn't the most entertaining fight I've ever seen but I didn't expect much different from Floyd at this stage of his career. What disappointed me even more was Manny's performance. He was the one that was supposed to bring in the "action."
