I heard Roach said he had to turn down training Chocolatito for his American debut on HBO because his hands were full, but he might train him, also I heard rumors going around that Kovalev wants to train under Freddie Roach and move to California, he was training at the Wild Card gym during Pacmans training camp and roach was watching him hitting the double end bag and they talked.

Why are fighters seeking Freddie Roach? roach got exposed badly especially in the last Pacquiao fight with Mayweather, his only gameplan is to talk trash and hope fighters get nervous, right now he isn't in optimal condition and his strategies are garbage. Maybe its a business move? HBO loves Roach and Roach is famous and loved in Hollywood maybe they told him to hook up with Roach to get more exposure and focus more on offense?
