GTFOH you ****. Don't you have some absurd fight predictions to go make, Banku Stew?
I'm not even a fan of Khan. I just know lame ass pretenders when I see them. Just like I can see right thru your sorry ass.Comment

Algieri sucks and will probably lose, but Khan is such a glass chinned bum that I wouldn't be at all surprised if Algieri knocked him the *** to hell.Comment

that was pretty harsh... Most trainers are pretty cool with eachother and even if they aren't they usually don't (almost) flat out say the guy doesn't know what he's doing. Shots fired. I mean Hunter has Ward and to my knowledge he was with him before he turned pro I'm assuming Virgil built him up so he has to know a little something but I'm sure Jackson really does see something there... who knows?Comment

Diaz is the only guy he'd faced since Garcia who put Khan under some pressure and could actually punch a bit.
Otherwise he's fought bums like Molina or stand-off counter punchers like Collazo, Alexander and now Algieri.
This idea that Khan has improved dramatically under Hunter is a myth.
Brook isn't exactly a pressure fighter which is why I always fancied Khan in the fight but they're obviously **** scared of those delicate whiskers.Comment

John David Jackson is right about the counter left hook. Even the first shot that got the ball rolling for Prescott was a counter left hook. Now hurting Khan is easy, but it is not like he'll go to sleep after just being touched cuz you have to follow through by finishing the job like Garcia or Prescott. Now Algieri is one heck of a talent, but I don't think he can finish Khan say he manages to seriously hurt him.

Both guys to stop Khan got the ball rolling from left hooks. Counter, that is. Khan can handle pressure i.e. Maidana add the venomous power. Even with Diaz he saw it coming, but had his hand down, hence he recovered well. While Maidana's over hand right hurt him Khan did recover because he saw it coming. So, Brook should just let Amir come in for so, he can set up that left hook, which of course he is very precise with. Point being it isn't pressure, but counter attacks that will get Khan out of there cuz his chin won't recover well from those he can't see coming.Diaz is the only guy he'd faced since Garcia who put Khan under some pressure and could actually punch a bit.

With that in mind your "I hate Khan" routine is reaching.
His biggest spike of "overall" improvement was under Roach. That's why it was so obvious. Now he has reached a level of saturation, old dog learning new trick and things he learn will be mostly subtle i.e. tuning. So, Hunter has helped him with move from the mentality of an amateur of getting you back right away cuz you scored a point on him, being economical with the shots, patience and not rushing things, recovering by holding and not sprinting. Also it is evident Khan is keeping his hands up a lot better.
In a nut shell Khan has improved quite a bit, but it will be nice to see how they unfold when he gets tagged from a guy with power.Last edited by Box-Office; 05-29-2015, 01:43 AM.Comment
