    WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO???

IMHO they should be all sc****d or unified as one ... 2 World Titles was ridiculous ... Three was totally wrong ..... Four is Crazy ...

Too many great fighters hold or have held this belt these days therefore we must consider it as a major belt.

Not sure how they work out their rankings though?

No Hatton in top 15 at Light Welter, no Mayweather in top 15 at Welter etc etc etc

What a strange question. Ofcourse it's a 'real world title'.

Well if you had any doubts about the title (Herbie Hide springs to mind) forget it. Calzaghe should have erased any doubts about the WBO.

WBO holder of the welter wieght Margrito is a very strong guy. As well as Deigo Corrales and others

So I think if I say no I disrepect the holders of the belts who work hard for it.

I very much agree. What happend to the old 15 round battles for the 1 heavyweight title of the world? Now we have 12 round clinch fests for 1 of four world titles.

Yes I do b/c some real great champions have had WBO belts. Joe Calzagi and Prince and Bowe and Oscar and now Cotto. They are all great champions. However I agree with Frank Bruno. The WBC the the Creme dela Creme of them all.

usually it is not considered a belt at all...however, lately the americans have started to recognise it whenever an american or latino fighter has it!

                    answer: not a real belt!
