Well, 168 has better fighters than 160. By a long shot. Like for example, any MW not named GGG would get knocked out by say, Abraham at 168, imo. And let's face it, AA hasn't been a force at SMW for a while now. But he alone can KO the entire 160 1 by 1, if they came up to 168. I really do think AA at least ends up with a winning record against the top 10 MW's, collectively.
I'd take Lemieux and Quillin over Abraham right this second, and GGG would murder him.Comment

Oh look they got they excuses ready for the inevitable whooping Ward will dish out to that boy, just like the Pac fans who knew all along he'd get schooled by Money, then when it happens it's because of Pac's decline, as if Floyd or Ward is Peter Pan.

Yet another thread about GGG's defense. How about some STATS folks? If this is the truth, then you must have facts to back it up, no? C'mon... let's see those punch stats that show how much he gets hit. Let's see the proof.
And as usual in all these threads, not one person will be able to provide anything other 'well if you can't see it with your own eyes...'. My eyes are fine. STATS people!!! Let's see them.
@ stats.
Watch his fights. He gets hit....clean....and repeatedly. He just stands there and gets hit in the face. He doesn't fight backing up.Comment

I've seen all his fights and I really don't see anything wrong with him as far as declines go. However I do think that he has probably got to just about as good as he can be, given his age and the amount of fights he had over both his careers. But a decline? Nah I don't see that to be honest.
It is funny with GGG...I can not tell if he has got just about as good as he can be or if he is on the verge of tapping into something better...I can't really tell, but I don't think he is declining...We will see when/if he fights Froch and Ward I guess.Comment

He will be fine, he is fighting guys with very few KO's so it's not like he's gonna get KTFO at MW. If one of them have the skill to out box him but not the power to hurt him, they won't keep him off him and will keep losing by KO. Those who have KO power are too limited like Lee, Lemieux, and then the one's that have power and skill like Canelo and Cotto would have many physical disadvantages at 160 vs GGG. They would be fighting a taller, stronger, more powerful version of themselves.
Sure he got Ko'd.
But so did Lemieux...Lee...and Cotto.Comment
