Surely can't just be me who's noticed a dip in his the past 2 years?
Yeah 6 straight KO's in the last 2 years with his best competition in his resume....I see the exact same thing. I mean this freaking guy cant even knock fighters out in the 1st or 2nd round anymore! DECLINE!
He may be declining. He is at an age when most fighters decline. He is still one bad sob and I would favor him to beat any 160 or 168 pounder fighting today.

Absolutely. He's regressing because he's now fighting up to the level of his competition.

I've absolutely seen a decline. Whether it's because he's fighting cans and has zero respect for them or if because no one has pushed him to utilize whatever tools he has
Ffs he looked like a face first plodder with Monroe.
He's prime. No wear and tear. Hopkins was at his absolute peak at 36.
Peter Quillin still learning doe, and he's just a year younger and still never headlined a show.
As for competition, it's not GGG's fault he's head and shoulders above the rest in his division. It's not his fault he hasn't been able to unify and win the lineal title. Can't fight the guys who aren't willing to fight him. People so desperate to see him in an even match they want him to move up to SUPER middleweight. That speaks volumes. It should be the other way around, middleweight is the weight class with the most meaning, it has the most history. SMW was barely even recognized as a legit weight class, it was seen as a stepping up division for young fighters who's bodies were still growing, only Welshman and Germans stuck around for more than a few years because the competition ****** so bad. It's like all the other junior and super weight classes, not of the original 8.

This is where you lost me, completely.
I don't care about the history of either division. All I know is the competition at SMW CURRENTLY trumps the competition of MW. And if Golovkin is head and shoulders above his current division he should be looking to test himself and fight the better fighters above or below MW. That's what the fans care about, and that's what you should care about. Not all the other hoopla you posted. Not sitting around trying to get fat off a fight with a war town Cotto, or Canelo.
I guarantee you he would gain more respect going down to fight Lara or going up to fight Ward. Instead he's content fighting in a division his obviously too good for.

Lol by who? 38 people on NSB? Going down to fight Lara isn't accomplishing anything. People want big names. He's already trying to get Cotto, Canelo and Froch not sure what more u want from the guy.
But again, it's not his fault he's better than everyone else at middleweight. It's not his fault he's a middleweight either. It's no different than Rigondeaux at 122, that's his weight class, people say Rigondeaux should move up to get bigger names but Rigondeaux won't, why? Because that's his weight class.
Even then Golovkin tried to fight Chavez, before he imploded his career, is trying to get Froch and stated he'll fight Ward eventually who isn't even an option right now (and hasn't been for a couple of years). Unrealistic demands here. Fight Lara at 154! (who can't fight on HBO cuz he's with Haymon) and Fight Ward (who hasn't been available to fight for a couple years, making his comeback next month against Paul Smith on BET).
Some people need to realize somethings are out of his hands right now and just be patient. The big fights will come.
