what does it matter how good he used to be when we're talking about what he is now? golovkin's wins over geale, murray, et al, are certainly better than stevenson's recent win over bika. and what makes him (in his prime) a higher calibre of fighter than martin murray anyway? murray arguably beat both sturm and martinez; what did bika ever do that was more impressive than that?

Well Bika has some great losses! He lost to Calzaghe, Bute, Ward, Anthony Dirrell and Stevenson. Other than that, and getting a first round DQ against Mendy, he's really done nothing at all.

i think the smw division has been overrated since the super six. people act as if andre ward is a hall of fame fighter already with just two top quality wins in froch and kessler. bika, abraham, green, miranda, rodriguez - these fighters are no better than the guys golovkin has been wiping out at middleweight. the dawson performance was impressive but chad's descent from 'bad' to 'sad' was already well under way by then.

He really does have a point about Arthur Abraham although there was a small armenian contingent on here overhyping him and vanes and vic but either way, the problem i have with GGG is that he really needs to fight SOMEONE with some sort of accomplished resume, enough with these stay busy fights. He has ability, he has skill, but we really dont know how much until he gets in there with someone who can really try him. I hate that there isnt much at 160 but if thats the case at some point you have to consider moving up. his fans dont bother me, remember, pac fans were stanning amir kahn just because roach trained him

Here is something I dont understand..GGG It is an elite fighter,and there is not one person in MW that i can see beating him..People say that is because the middleweight division its weak,perhaps,but he is fighting what is in front of him..Cotto could've of fought him but he is fighting someone ggg KO...For the life of me i cannot understand why people is making this fantasy fights at diferent weight classes..ggg always has made weight so I dont see why the fuzz..People here say thing like he needs to show he is elite..but to whom?..And funny thing is that I kindaaa like the guy.

GGG has done nothing to be considered elite.

He has flaws elites don't have...like dropping his punches,and pulling back with his hands down,ALL THE TIME.

A truly elite fighter would barely get touched in that dead division.
