    Golovkin seems overhyped

Have not been watching much boxing over the last 18 months but I seen a lot of hype around golovkin, people saying he's a shoe in to ko froch, and most other top 168lb fighters (except ward of course, who still hasn't fought!)

So I was assuming GGG must have had some pretty big wins over the last 18 months.... what's this.... Martin Murray?

All I'm seeing is he's beaten up a bunch of average middleweights, great.

Don't get me wrong he's a very solid fighter but I need to see this guy step up and fight these top level 168lb fighters before I declare him elite. Hell I want to see him against an AVERAGE 168lb fighter.

Let's not forget, and it does get revised now but a few years ago Arthur Abraham had this reputation as a killer who was going to ktfo all these guys at super middle. When he went up he was too small. Arthur Abraham is bigger than golovkin.

Let's be real here. Sakio Bika would be the best opponent GGG has fought if that fight was made. Can you imagine Bika against Martin Murray, Murray would get bludgeoned

I'm not getting carried away with GGG

Martin Murray, Curtis Stevens, and Daniel Geale are all better opponents than Sakio Bika.

Bika would beat all of them. Way too strong. Maybe geale could shoeshine to a points win but I doubt it

Ive been saying he needs to move up just to get better competition and see just how good he really is but GGG fans rather see him stay at 160lb and wait for fights that may never happen and even if they do wont be competitive (Cotto, Lee, Canelo, etc) .

I'm still a fan of his but I can't with some of his fans, really can't.

              Nope
              Those guys are fragile.
Bika is tougher than all those guys combined.

I think the fact nobody in his division stands a chance prooves how good he is. Also the fact people want him to move up a weight division and fight the best in that division shows how good he is.
