Hunter is talking future-tense, not past-tense. He's saying he could make Khan into Hall-of-Fame material in the near future, not that he is right now. But with wins over 8 world champions, including 2 guaranteed future HOFers in Barrera and Judah, Khan is already half way there. The rest depends on Hunter's training if he can make it all the way to HOF status.

Khan and his camp need to really shut the hell up because they all lose creditability with comments like this. He beat Barerra after he was old, washed up and not fighting in his weight class. You get no credit for that. Just like Danny Garcia beating Erik Morales gets no credit from me. Both guys were so far from their prime and ideal weight class. Both were no longer top fighters when Garcia and Khan took them out.

First Zab aint no HOFer. And he damn sure wasn't in his prime. Second Barrera had lost 2 of his last 4 fights before facing Khan. Both loses is dominating fashion. And his 2 wins were against a guy with a 1-7 record and a guy 25-19 record. Basically 2 rebounds against no named bums and then he took a big payday to be Khan's punching bag at a weight class he had no business fighting in. You have to go back 3 years prior to Khan to find a creditable win on Barrera record. Forget prime Barrera was so washed up at that point it's not even funny. Nobody takes that win serious.
