Former lightweight titleholder Paul Spadafora is facing a criminal complaint accusing him of taking his brother’s Supplemental Security Income card, according to Pittsburgh television station WTAE.

Spadafora was present when officers arrived.

“Police reported that when they went to the home, Spadafora denied having the card and used obscenities while ordering them off the porch,” the article said.

If you never seen the spadafora/dorin fight then may i suggest you watch it when you have spare time. Great fight! It pretty much ended dorin's career as he got clobbered his next fight by Gatti i believe.

Spadafora was once an incredible fighter, an IBF lightweight champion and he had a hell of a war against Dorin which he really should have lost. Since he went off the rails his career went to sh**. But I heard he was training with the Porter family recently and was hoping to see him back in action in some good fights. But he has been out of the ring for a year and is 40 in a few months. Such a waste of talent.
