    The Best Ever Super Middleweights

Pretty simple, I think the following are the 10 best super middleweights ever, using the usual criteria of skills, titles, reign, opponents faced, best wins and so on.

    1. Joe Calzaghe
    2. Chris Eubank
    3. Carl Froch
    4. Andre Ward
    5. Roy Jones Jr.
    6. Nigel Benn
    7. Mikkel Kessler
    8. Svenn Ottke
    9. James Toney
    10. Chong Pal Park

    Guys, list your fighters.

loool well I'm expecting it, it's part of boxing discussion. As long they are boxing fans first then I don't mind.

My reasoning is that yes, h2h Ward is better but he falls behind in almost every other category (resume, titles, reign). I still believe there should have been a rematch, it was a very good win for Ward but he got clocked well in the last 3 rounds and Froch really pushed him in the championship distance.

Plus Froch seemed rejuvenated from Bute, Mack to Kessler II. That version would have given Ward an even better fight.

Ward can still claim that 3rd place if he achieves more in the division.

Wow sorry my bad I missed you had Froch #3, I thought you were one of those Khan fanboys who dislikes Froch so I thought you deliberately excluded him from the list.

No Steve Collins? WTF! And while I'm a huge Roy fan he does'nt deserve to be on the list at SMW just for the fact he never fought Benn, Eubank or Collins.

Collins could have made it on, I wouldn't argue if you'd have him there. WOuld he be higher than RJJ? I dunno.

I'm a Khan fan but still a Froch fan, their beef is quite **** as both ***** out when they face each other in person.

I like the list, I'd probably move Kessler to 5 though as benn and Jones did a lot of their best work at other weights

I just felt that, although Kessler has some very good achievements at 168, he can't match the explosiveness of Benn or the overall quality of Jones, if they ever went h2h, I'd favour both guys over Kessler, possibly even by stoppage.
