i really dont see too many cats messing with broner especially since the maidana fight, like he says he 'fights to win' now and if that means he wont be exchanging punches like a damn caveman for the fans entertainment then so be it, since maidana hes shook off the cobwebs and looks fresh fly and flashy to me, dude put on a clinic against molina who almost kod matysse and maidena looks to be 200 pound so he got a long way back and wont touch 140 again.

i really see dude holding his ground at 140, swift and terence crawford will be moving up and taking over business at 147 and peterson will probably move up too. the rest of the comp at 140 is compostioned of mainly face first cavemen like provodnokov, postol and mattyse who we know cant deal with defensive technician.

i see 140 being held by broner and potentialy amir imam who also have skills to make a significiant name for himself in this sport.

The kid has some skills, a personality that is sellable BUT hasnt had the fights that would put him in the top 20 p4p. Perez, DeMarco, Reese and Paulie for belts(hardly a who's who of great fighters) are his best wins. Got beat up and lost to Chino, then moves back down to take on the killers of 140lbs(Molina, Taylor and Molina Jr) to then fight Porter(who started at 154lbs) at a catchweight of 144lbs.....If thats not p4p material, i dont know what is!

Porter is a stylistic nightmare for Broner - he comes forward with a two-fisted power ambush attack. Broner is flat-footed with a bootleg shoulder-roll defense that leaves him extremely vulnerable for straight right hands down the pipe or over the top, and sweeping left hooks swiping the point of that suspect chin.


Broner does have some hand speed, and power that he's carried with him up in weight, but t won't be enough to keep POrter off him.

Gotta love Broner threads on boxing forums. No matter which forum I visit, it's always the same hating ass bigots in Broner threads. They never want to give him any credit. They only want to talk about his negative perceivings, and trust me when I say it has very little to do with his actual boxing. We get it, you don't like what he stands for. At least take the time to appreciate what he's done in boxing. Look at the accolades for such a young guy.
