The headline on Saturday will read: Algieri shocks, drops, stops Khan early

I'd love to see the upset, but alas, I don't see it happening.

That's the kind of stuff Floyd Sr was talking about in regards to Hatton before his career blew up in two rounds.

But I hope he pulls it off. Partially to have Amir Khan get punished for this pick, and partially because I put a little $ on Algieri @ 8.5/1.

I actually used to be a huge Khan fan once upon a time. But his mouth eventually turned me off on him. I don't hate him but I'm not really a fan anymore.

I really cant see how Algieri wins this. Both guys are long range box and move types, but Khan is faster and hits harder, with a way better pedigree.

Stranger things have happened, but its a long shot.

                  My thoughts too.

Essentially Algieiri is the same type of boxer as Khan with less power and less hand speed.

Khan picked him for exactly that reason.

I can see a late stoppage for Khan, followed by more 'Floyd can't ignore me now' type BS.

I think Khan wins a decision but I would not be surprised if this was highly competitive and if somehow Chris pulls it out. I know Chris looked like crap against Manny but I feel that other than Manny being a great fighter (yes I still give respect) Chris was just not ready for that and believed his own hype I feel. It was too much too soon like others have said. If Khan wipes the floor with him then yes he is definitely not a top level talent that will be clear. If he beats Khan though I think he is def a threat to some guys out there. I still am going with a Khan win though.
