I'm really wondering about the PBC TV ratings. Everytime I check they are really bad. Al Haymon must loose a lot of money.
I would say the living standard and the income of the people in Germany and the US is quite similar. People are pretty responsive for TV commercials, etc.
Basically, in Germany it's like that:
Wladimir draws around 10 million people and RTL is paying him 3 Million US-Dollar.
Michalczewkski has generated ratings around 6-8 million in his prime. He made up to 2 million dollar per fight.
Ottke, Huck and Abraham (prime) have drawn around 5-6 million people. They received paychecks around 1 million dollar.
Today boxing is somehow dying in Germany. 4 million people is already a big hit. 3 million people is borderline ok. Everything bellow 3 million (the standard for guys like Stieglitz, Braehmer and Sturm) is already regarded as somehow disappointing and if a guy generates bellow 2 million viewers, he has definitely no future. Nowadays the budget is like 500.000 dollar per fight or maybe 1 million if it's a big fight.
So Germany has a population of 80 million. The US around 250 million, right? And how many people switch in for the PBC fights? 1 million? 2 million? That's really bad. Haymon is paying his fighters crazy money. He must be loosing a lot of money (does they even show commercials on the shows?).

Last fight that hit 10M in the US was probably Tyson's 2nd fight out of prison vs. Buster Mathis Jr. in 1996 on FOX?
