It was a close fight, he came on in the second half of the fight. I can't be mad at him if he thought he won.

It's not like it was clear cut. I don't get the ******ity of fans that constantly critique fighters in close fights.

It was clear cut though, that's what I don't understand. Just because a fight was close doesn't mean it wasn't clear cut, if you break down the scoring.

If a fight is close and there are a lot of even rounds then yes, there is room for debate. The rounds in this fight were very clear. From 1-5 Degale won with an extra 2 point lead in the second. The 6th is a a swing round, could score it either way. From 7-10 it is all Dirrell, there is no way you could score them for Degale. The only rounds then up for debate are close 11th and 12th. That means at most you can score it 113-113, if you score all of the swing rounds for Dirrell.

With the knockdowns I cannot feasibly give Dirrell a win in the fight because there just weren't enough swing rounds. The closest you can have it is a draw.
