If Froch backs out, I hope Golovkin goes after DeGale.

Think he was too overconfident in the first fight. In the second, he was controlled and fought like a long-time champ. Picked up the pace nicely and that KO punch was just beautifully timed. I could see him setting GGG up for something similar.

It sounds like he's suggesting that his size and strength will allow himself to end GGG's KO streak, but not win a decision.....

I think his focus is already misguided.

He needs to accept nothing short of total victory otherwise he's already expressing doubt.....

I think the fight will happen in Britain ... I think the hype machine is starting to roll and a spectacular fight is on the way....

Dispite being in Great Britain, GGG wins in UD.... Froch does go the distance....
What is your mindset? He said he would end GGG's unbeaten record. Read the article, not the title, before you write an essay based off of something a fighter didn't even say.

In my opinion if anyone has earned the right to say what he wants that would be Froch. And in reality he ain't saying much of anything, yet.

Nobody cares how strongly he feels, one day he is closer to retirement the next day he is talking trash. GGG said he will move up AND come to England. What other demands are there? If you are going to retire, retire and fade away. He said 3 weeks ago he wanted to fight Ward again, then said it would be a boring fight. If you are not serious enough to avenge a loss then you probably arent serious now. Don't keep making comments trying to sound relevant. You're afraid and everyone knows it.

                At 168, I agree.

But if Team GGG even think about mentioning a catchweight.....

                  Distinctly possible.

Like another poster said, I think Imdazed, Froch is very close to the fight where he suddenly looks old/slow/disinterested.

That is one of the problems when making a matchup like this.

And people have been mentioning Kessler

When a fighter starts talkiing about retirement, I usually stop backing them.

One foot out-the door usually = the writing is on the wall.

In saying that, a fully motivated/prepared Froch beats Golovkin.

Froch's resume, size, and expirience should make him the favorite if someone is actually looking at the fight objectively.
                    I dont understand it either.

Age/wear could be justifiable reasoning, but that aint the case here.

Bro, just as many people think that Golovkin could beat Ward, so..... ???????

I sense a lot of that creepy man-love thing happening with GGG.

                    Casuals, ftw !

This means we're getting the fight right?

He practically announced it right here. Golovkin's team would love this fight.
