Of course Golovkin would go up for a big money fight -- he also wanted to fight Chavez Jr. who was planned to be a big money fight at that moment...

This would be great, there's life in boxing yet. Froch is not to be underestimated here, but he blocks with his face at times which is really bad for business when up against someone who has been dispatching opposition like Golovkin has.

I think Froch wins a narrow one.

Would love this bout just to see who sets up the better offensive traps.

Froch has said so much about this fight that retiring now will look like a duck to many.

If Froch was a couple of fights fresher I'd pick him over Golovkin. But not at this point in his career.

                Indeed. I agree.

He was talking about "being inspired to fight again" and needing the "right opponent" to make him want to work hard in camp. Ding ding ding? GGG. How can you not be up for that fight, especially as its a relatively big money fight!

                  Excellent!

This is the mindset he needs to have. I really hope this fight is happening - it sounds like Froch made his decision.

This is a real fight. Although there is a good chance it shortens Gennady's career (as I expect a war), it will be his signature fight.

I have it 70:30 for GGG.

If even the Froch from Groves II shows up, I like him over Golovkin. But yeah he's at the stage where he could look painfully slow and aged at any given time.

Golovkin's power will only be effective against MWs and not big iron chinned SMWs. Golovkin won't be able to hurt Froch and when he gases after 4-5 rounds Froch unload bombs on his easy to hit chin and knock him out.
