The fight won't happen. Wilder will vacate the belt before he fights Povetkin.

I agree if Wilder actually fights him.

I'd favor Wilder but Povetkin has fight changing power. Interesting fight

            Both are dangerous punchers. Both.

I think Jennings would be a bigger Problem for Povetkin than Wilder!
Jennings would propably lose by a Close decision while Wilder would get absolutely flattened! His Trainer is right, Povetkin Looks great against opponents who come Forward and Wilder is not experienced enough against solid opponents to execute the right gameplan against Povetkin. You just cant bumrush 30 bums and then hang at the highest Level with a guy like Povetkin.
Stiverne was completely out of shape and ill when he fought Wilder.Thats nothing compared to Pove. Remember Stiverne was stopped before but Wilder couldnt realy hurt him that much and went the distance with his ill Opponent. Everyone can knock bums out. Wilder is the biggest hypejob in boxing right now. Hes as overrated as Broner before Maidana kicked his butt.

I don't think Bummy Deon stands too much chance.

He does not have the chin to withstand Povetkin, or the punching power to hurt him, or the strength to shove povetkin off, or the skill to keep him at bay.

                ^^ Doesn't look good for Bummy D!

When is Wilder's mando due? Klitschko-Fury and Wilder-Povetkin in one year? Great for heavyweight boxing!

I somehow slightly favour Wilder, just due to the fact that Povetkin seems to crouch a little too low for fighting a tall strong champion like Wilder - But if Povetkin can get to Wilder's chin, I've got no doubts he'll turn his lights out. Can easily see Wilder do a baby giraffe on the floor.

Equally, Povetkin proved he could get a little hurt vs Wlad and was on shaky legs from time to time. I also think that has something to do with Wlad literally grabbing and leaning more than punching. For those who didn't know Wlad leaned on Povetkin 180 times in 12 rounds and only landed 120 punches. Easily enough for disqualification and Povetkin should rightfully be the champ now actually.

Anyway, top fight. If Wilder can keep it long and pot-shot Povetkin coming in, he'll win. If he lets Povetkin get on the inside and throw those deadly hooks, he's minced meat.

                  Slightly favouring Wilder. Just slightly.

I thought you would say it's physically impossible for Povetkin 6'2 225lbs to beat Wilder 6'7?

Or is that just when it's fighters you don't like?

Ok so now vs Povetkin Wilder is a glass chin bum but vs Foreman he becomes an iron chinned unstoppable giant. The bias is obvious.
