I Scored the fight even at 113 - 113
It was a tight fight to score, and I lean more towards Marquez because the rounds he won were clear, where as when I gave John a round it was because he seemed to eek it out.
The problem with this fight comes with the point deductions. Regardless of wheather you thought they were warrented, you have to score them as such. In the end, I gave the 10th to Marquez which made it a 9-9 round, but I gave the 11th to John which made it 10-8 for John.
Depending on how you have those rounds scored (and they were both tight) that could swing someone score card a few points either way.
In the end I had Marquez winning more rounds, but the point deductions had my card even when I added it up.
There were a lot of tight rounds you could score either way, so I could see someone having it for either fighter. By a point or so for John, and up to a few points for Marquez.Comment

But that's not what the poster brought up....it was who people would want to see more, Marquez or Pacquiao? I have to say that Barrera and Morales is the bigger draw than Pacquiao...BUT NOT Marquez. You can count your fingers on how many fans JMM has. (figure of speech) The promoters didn't want to spend money for Marquez....that's why WBC and IBF took his belts.Comment
