i agree marquez didnt dominate the fight to make sure he wins. although marquez threw more combo, most of them are body shots. And we all know that not all judges are fans of body shot. he has no one to blame but himself.

Somehow this is JMM's fault for chasing that belt he was stripped off. Why so much love for that belt when Barrera, Morales and Pacquiao had already proved that it's meaningless. (Barrera dropped his belt at feather but is widely known as best that time, Pacquiao & Morales fought a great successful PPV without any Alpabhet belts involved). Marquez can't sleep without his belts? He could have fought Guzman, Harrison, Chi and not the unknown Cris John who if he had won wouldn't have given him credit anyway. marquez can get more people to watch his fights than pac...why do you think pac doesn't have any ppv unless it's with a mexican great...??...mexicans support their boxers..filipinos just realized pac existed 1 year ago and still they won't buy his fights...that is why pac vs larios isn't going to be in ppv here in the US ,filipinos here don't care about pac.who wants to see that fight anyway...pac is afraid of JMM..we all know that ...JMM can dominate anyone out there...only a home decision can beat him...

I just watched this fight for the 3rd time with the audio switched off, I definitely have JMM winning 8 rounds to John's 4. After the deductions, I still have him winning 7 rounds to 5.

He was the aggressor throughout, threw more punches and landed the bigger punches. He had ring generalship and effective aggression.


A rematch on neutral grounds, should be in order. If that fight can't be made, i hope they can land a marquee fight with Scott Harrison late this year.
