Here's another poster's analysis on other forums after watching the fight.

Just finished watching the fight. Marquez clearly dominated john in this fight. I have it 114 - 112 for marquez.

1 - 5 rounds = Hands down Marquez. Completely dominated John. No way john could have won any of these first 5 rounds.

6-7 rounds = It was very close. I thought Mrquez had the edge in punches landed also in power punches. But since this fight was in Indonesia and John is the Champ i gave him these 2 rounds.

8 round = Marquez got a warning for lowblow. But again it was clearly marquez's round. 10 - 9 for marquez

9 round = Marquez dominated John again - 10 - 9 for marquez

10 round = Marquez got deduction for lowblow(It wasnt a clear lowblow). But marquez won this round minus 1 point from deduction so it was tied for this round 9 - 9

11 round = Another unclear lowblow but this round i thought was really close so i give it to John. John 8 - 10 for this round

12 round = The only round i thought john won. But not completely domainated Marquez. Marquez looked a but fustrated comming into this round from those deduction from the previous rounds. 9 - 10 for John

Final Score - 114 - 112 for Marquez.


If this fight happened somewhere else this is gonna be a landslide victory for marquez. Marquez Dominated the champ from start to end. I already gave John an advantage by giving him the close rounds and still he lost.

This is such bull****..It's not even like Marquez is a ******* outside the ring or anything, he worked his ass off and deserves this Win..

But I remember havin a arguement with some over zealous filipino about this fight, none of us saw it and he was litterally tryin to force this victory for Chris John..
