Comments Thread For: Calzaghe, Froch Trade Insults During Twitter Battle

The British super middleweight showdown between Joe Calzaghe and Carl Froch never occurred before Calzaghe retired undefeated, but Calzaghe initiated a Twitter brawl between them over the weekend.

Calzaghe took a shot at Froch when he Tweeted: congratulations to @jamesdegale1 I think he’d whoop Froch! Predictions???

Froch responded: You didn’t fancy the job! [Click Here To Read More]

Why would Froch retire in his prime at the age of 32? Just to stop and admire his latest work with groves ? Who's Goves anyway? Com'on Froch, be a man in this sport of boxing. Fight!

Calzagke only fought an upcoming Kessler that was coming into his prime.he padded his record fight Roy Jones & Hopkins wy past their primes who would have otherwise destroyed him. Undefeated means nothing in this case. Sort of like Marciano's record. Bs!

O come on did you really just make that comment,?? hopkins was far from past his prime,he only lost to taylor and roy jones jr before calzaghe! and the man is still giving some of the best light-heavyweights (which is up in weight BTW) a run for the money not named kovalev. maybe you be right about roy jones jr but if you want to go their, well then that was calzaghes last fight so he was past his prime also. And marciano fought the best their was during his time, cant fight whats not their so go on off back into your box because you havnt a clue what your on about man

Froch criticised calzaghe for vacating his belt to fight Hopkins

Froch said in his book he would never vacate a belt only to do so to duck James degale

                  Froch is a fraud

Froch already fought his equivalent to him and Calzaghe when he fought Groves.
