Sergey Kovalev (the WBO from Cleverly in the UK, then the IBF and WBA from Hopkins in the USA)

James DeGale (IBF in the USA against the American boxer, Dirrell)

Terence Crawford (in the UK against the British boxer Burns)

Kell Brook (in the USA against Porter)

Who are some of the others?
Felix Trinidad won several titles in the us. I must add though that Puerto Rico is part of the U.S. However I think it's a worthy mention.

In December of 2013, Marcos Maidana came to America and beat Adrien Broner in his home country for his WBA welterweight title.

Not exactly Klitschko's home country but it is his home away from home. Corrie Sanders shattered his glass chin.

Hagler over Minter (UK) tops any of them. He had to leave a ring showered with beer bottles and a police escort trying to shield him from bottles even after he left the ring.
