Yeah, he is fighting Abraham. Why Bika? So, you can have an excuse ready about him coming off a loss at a higher weight?

Unless it's Froch it is going to be someone beatable, deal with it. Winning a World title is a lifetime achievement and only then you start making proper $. Degale is going to recoup the time, effort and expenses invested in to his pro career before taking on a hard fight. That is the pattern in boxing, so I don't see why it is so difficult to notice.

thanks. here in pacific i get 13 digital tv channells free. 4 of which are pbs stations which are great.
i pay $70 a month for phone and the fastest dsl. i can watch every main fight free streaming live.

Wait and see,if selby wins, never fight outside the uk against someone worth fighting, and the same thing whit mitchell, IF i am wrong, and selby and mitchell win and defend their titles against someone valuable or even outside the UK,and degale keeps his word and fights the "best" at 168,or takes a fight that wont be all his way outside the UK,then il come back and give you some points and green K, until then enjoy mis matches and groves vs degale 2 for £40 on box office if groves wins, although i wouldnt mind seeing that fight myself ha
You're confusing not fighting in the US as holding the belt captive. Kell Brook, I'll give you that but then again, the guy just went over to the US to win his belt against a highly rated American fighter. I'm not impressed with the up coming fight but Jo Jo Dan was a mandatory so I won't begrudge him. Plus this next fight is barely a month after the last one, so again, he deserves props for that. I would hardly call that holding the belt hostage.

I think Cleverly gets way too much stick, he fought guys like Bellew, Muhammadi and Murat, all guys who got title shots against the three leading guys in the division (Hops, Kov and Stevenson). Just because he was fighting in the UK, it's not holding the belt hostage. Why should the champion give up home town advantage, unless there is very big money on the table.

There is this mentality that some have, which means they believe that a champion from the UK or anywhere outside of the US, fighting in their home countries is automatically holding the belt hostage. That's not the case as long as they are facing quality opposition. Why aren't US fighters only fighting in the States painted with the same brush?

It isn't hard to punctuate or use paragraphs. You're calling me "childish" but you post like you didn't pass kindergarten.

I've written a thread ripping the piss out of Eddie Hearn so once again, you are wrong.

The IBF enforce their mandatories so it's not a belt that's capable of being held captive.

Fwiw, the next ranked fighters were:

            #3 Zurdo Ramirez
            #4 George Groves
            #5 Julius Jackson

Groves might drop since he went the WBC route and I doubt Top Rank will send Ramirez over.
