Degale beating dirrell yesterday was the best news ward could have gotten.

He has an opponent in the super middleweight division that hbo will approve now.

        Ward/degale
        Ward/Golovkin
        Ward/Kovalev

SOG next 18 months are critical too his legacy.

These are the only fights the people will respect.

        Ward beats degale easy
        Ward beats a competitive Golovkin
        Ward/Kovalev 50/50 fight

I like DeGale but Andre Ward isn't Andre Dirrell or Gennady Golovkin...we are talking a different level of boxer.

After all, there are levels to this ****...

DeGale showed a nice jab last night, stepping in with it and pushing Dirrel back with it and he has good upper body movement plus Ward is not going to keep his hands down like Dirrell did in the 2nd record.

But I also can't see him troubling Ward in any way. Ward is technically far superior, his foot work will see him get in and out with ease against DeGale's very wide stance and DeGale's low work rate suggests he won't be able to out work Ward.

Ward is also much, MUCH better on the inside than DeGale.

Give Degale couple of fight as a World Champion and I believe he will be the man to beat Ward no doubt. At this point, no.

Yeah that could be the case, but count on Ward to mess this up the man is a Diva now, he wouldn't even fight Bute for crying out loud because he "didn't deserve it", which led to the resurrection of Froch's career. I think Ward will end up fighting one of these guys in 18 months if we're lucky.

There is no one who beats Ward at 168.
